Review: I think the version is for the halal food court at Pavilion. So, I should have known better. It is not what it is expected of in a 3-Cup cooking scenario.“Sanbeiji” or "3-Cup Chicken" derives its name from the three cups of sauces required. For each chicken, a cup each of soy sauce, rice wine (usually mijiu and Shaoxing jiu), and sesame oil are added. I don't believe there are any rice wine allowed for halal food. So, it was my fault not thinking right to order chinese food in the wrong place.
And so, it ruined my appetite, did not finish it at all.
