Food Thoughts: Restoran 31 is not a Dim Sum shop but like most Chinese Kopitiam, the drinks/kopitiam tenant usually runs a steam cabinet for a few dim sum plates like siew mai and pao. The 大包 "Big Pao" here nice, the inside of the bao packed with meaty chicken and a large piece of boiled egg. For less than $6, the big pao with a cup of tea is a good breakfast choice here at Restoran 31. This particular shop does not attract too many customers although prominently located just opposite Main Place Mall with ample MPSJ parking spaces around it.

Food Thoughts: Restoran31, a corner chinese kopitiam of shop lots (opposite main place); offers the usual chinese hawker varieties like chicken/char siew rice/wan ton mee, char koay teow, pan mee as well as steam dim sums (in a steam cabinet). A spot was also rented to an Indian cooking mix rice stall. And I ordered the Chicken Varuval with boiled egg and Nasi Lemak Rice for breakfast. The chicken is not as tender as I like but well marinated, like the slightly sweet sambal with plenty of onions. 
Ending the breakfast with a chicken dai bao, although this is a trading item (likely not made by the kopitiam owners); it is surprising a huge bao then the normal dai bao. What I like was it wasn't salty at all and the bao skin was also not too thick, large chicken cube as well as egg inside the dai bao. Surprisingly a very good bao at reasonable price of $3.80 from a non-speciality dim sum normal kopitiam shop.

Thoughts: The rain in the morning was really welcoming sight after days of hot spell. After the gym, hoped across the street from Main Place for breakfast. My choice was hand-cut Pan Mee on Herbal Soup. It came with pork balls, bean curd, minced pork, fish ball, and wolfberry 枸杞子. Soup just felt a little bit herbal and not too bad.

烧肉鸡饭 Roasted Pork & Chicken Rice $6.50
Thoughts: Still waiting for the HR-V Polish job! Such a hot day today at noon, walked to shops across the street from "Shine Shine car wash" to grab some lunch. Hesitated few places but decided on simple Roasted pork and chicken rice. 
The 烧腊 is typical, so typical that I have nothing to say about its taste.

Thoughts:Many of the stalls at Restaurant 31 were closed (not sure if vacated or just today). The Keow Teow dry 三间庄 style, its ok ! bit salty, but I was hungry this morning.

Review: This Pan Mee is really not bad, just opposite Main Place. The dry Pan Mee hand plucked is very nice, worth trying other options at this hawker at Restoran 31 USJ 21.
