Thoughts: I like the simple bread varieties offered by this small little hawkers stall, right behind the kopitiam. The kiosk offers varieties of bao, garlic bread, toast & egg, as well as space bun.

Food Thoughts: It's Indian fried bitter gourd and two types of tofu (spicy and non-spicy with vege), and a whole lot of papadam to go with it. Not forgetting my favorite Masala Tea here at Chetties. A delightful and filling vegetarian meal on the 1st day of the Chinese 11th Lunar Month.
If you come at around 1pm, the restaurant will be crowded, as you may have to queue up just a little bit for self service at the food counter, one side vegetarian and next counter is the meat section. Chetties is a favorite for Indians and Chinese alike especially during lunch time, about 15 vegetarian dishes as well as 10-15 meat dishes are served at lunch time every day. There is a list of daily special dishes at the entrance every day. For example, today's vegetarian special are cabbage sambal, tofu sambal, vege chicken sambal, vege chicken paratal etc. Overall, very good Indian vegetarian cooking and that's why there is a queue to the food counter at 1pm.

Food Thoughts: Interesting in Penang, Rojak is referred as Pasembur (Rojak and Pasembur are two different things up north)! and more interesting that in Chinese it is called "檳城"青魚"(鮮魚)", literally translated to "Fresh Fish"! Try Googling "Penang 青魚" and you will know what I mean!
I was told that "Pasembor Hussin" actually operates out of a food truck at USJ 20, just less than 5 minutes driving from the current shop lot at USJ 21. Embarassing to say that I have yet to try their original food truck cooking which I think should be still running today. Nevertheless, the shop not only offers Pasembur but also Mee Goreng, Indian Bread and other Indian recipes.
