Thoughts: Roland Xavier and his family have been decorating their house with Christmas decorations to share the festive joy. It has been more than 13 years now, from early December to January, if you drive past USJ 11 from the traffic light junction; you will be able to see the Christmas bright lights.
In a newspaper interview few year back, Roland said this “Some ask us why do we keep doing this every year, ‘Isn’t this a waste of electricity?’. We look at the bigger picture, we hope to touch people’s hearts." In fact, Roland and his family tries to tightened their belts in energy conservation throughout the year and save the bills for the Christmas season as Roland hopes to bring the Christmas joy to not just his neighbors but also to everyone else. Roland hopes to put a smile in everyone who sees the decorations.
