Thoughts: Operating since 2008, the restaurant has achieved many rewards in Taiwan. 張瑞慶 "小慶師傅" is the head chef and is one of the 4 top 小笼包 Xiao Long Pao chefs in Taiwan. Mr Zhang has been making the Xiao Long Pao for more than 30 years.
Each basket's of dumpling are quickly pickup as they are served, they are really that good! This is definitely one great place to enjoy the 小笼包 in Taiwan. The restaurant also serves 冷菜 "Cold dishes", 佳餚 Delicacies, 煲湯 Soups, 時蔬 Vegetables, and 飯麵類 Rice & Noodle dishes as well. All semms really quite appetizing!

Thoughts: Taiwan has many 原住民 aborigines, adn the 邵族 "Thao Peoples" are a small group of Taiwanese aborigines who have lived near 日月潭 Sun Moon Lake, in the Central of Taiwan Country. And there have been living here for more than a Centruy ago. With only a small population of less than 500, the 邵族 "Thao Peoples" are said to be the smallest ethnic group in Taiwan. As of most of the ethnic groups in Taiwan, 邵族 has their own language as well as cultural heritage and cuisines.
The legend of why the 邵族 "Thao Peoples" haved lived in Sun Moon Lake is
"The ancestors originally lived on an island in the middle of Sun Moon Lake. They then saw a deer and wanted to eat it, so they chased it until they arrived in the side of Sun Moon lake. Then the deer ran into the water, leaving the Thau by themselves. They could only wait. The Thao people then slept at Sun Moon Lake. One of the elders dreamed of a fairy in a white cloak. He said to them "I am the deer that led you here. This place is your promised land. Please don't leave, because generations will come." (Wikipedia)
And today for lunch, I have the opportunity to taste of the cuisine this interesting Ethnic group in Taiwan!
