Thoughts: All I can say was that Dried Prawn Mee was interesting! I really am out of words to describe it. Of course it is edible and I finished all of it but I am not sure what to make it. 
But I do know I won't call this one again if coming here next time!
When I googled it, the examples of Dried Prawn Mee looks really tasty. Maybe a few were wrong; as I ordered meehoon instead of mee, the prawns were "very smallish babies" and totally not fresh, I think it came with black sauce like what one can find in Won Ton Mee. The other stuff they put in was slices of fried egg, fish cake cuts, kangkong, and sliced chicken actually all served "cold". 
So let me assemble the formula:
Meehon + black sauce + sliced fried egg + fish cake + kangkong + sliced chicken + "belacan" + served "cold" = Dried Prawn Mee!

Thoughts: 陳玉環婆婆 Madam Tang's hand-made Chinese Mochi are all made of natural ingredients, google and you can find many Chinese newspapers writing about her. Very soft and "QQ" when biting it!  Black sesame, Pandan, lychee, mango, Ribbina are among the 10 kinds of flavors. We did not specifically order any particular flavor but the piece of Ribbina flavor was really nice!
Auntie Chen was a diligent woman who keeps on working on the mochi swiftly with her two hands, and only occasionally looking up to waiting customers with a gentle face and asked what they want. 
It was reported that Madam Tang has been opening here at Petaling Street for more than 50 years, right around the time when I was born!

Thoughts: At a glance from the street of KL or even when you sit at a table inside this Cafe; one can't stop thinking this place must be a rip-off for tourist.
But the Matcha Green Tea Latte at $10 was in my opinion even better than Starbucks at around $16. The Green Tea is 真材实料 was authentic. Would certainly try some other types of coffee next time here
One of the main attractions here is the Durian Tart, they also have Mango and Cempedak flavor, all for $5 per piece. 
Fantastic dining atmosphere, adjoining to Pacific Hotel at Jalan Hang Kasturi, short walk from China Town or Central Market or Dataran Merdeka.

Thoughts: Terribly cooked by foreigners who can't be blamed, perhaps they are not well trained by the greedy owner who keeps opening stores everywhere and left them manned by semi-trained chefs.
China Town (Petaling Street) is no longer where it used to be. It is still packed with tourist as still have some charms of pre-war buildings and sense of the "70s" maybe where other parts of KL have been slowly renewed to just concrete walls. But the back lanes are much dirtier than it used to be just few years ago; I know well as I walked these streets doing street photographing for so many years. But China Town without Chinese sellers but rather Myanmar or Bangladesh people has forever loose it's previous charms in the 70s and 80s.

Thoughts: Sana'a Restaurant is still top of my list if I needed some middle east cuisines. Due to Friday prayers, the restaurant open after 2:20pm. Ordered Hanith Lamb and the meat was really tender. The Fahsah is also a popular Yemenish dish where one picks up the shredded lamb directly from the hot pot with small slice of bread. Oily but perfect. I have always liked Hummus and I ordered one to remind me of the nutty creamy taste with the bread. 
Ended the lunch the the Yemin Red Tea! All in a perfect afternoon meaty middle eastern cuisine.

Thoughts: This is by far one of the best teh tarik from a Mamak stall (or is it an Indian Stall). The stall is on the road side but hidden behind the main roads. One really cannot get any better then a $1.20 teh tarik in the middle of the Golden Triangle in KL. 
I had two before returning back to the training center, the morning breakfast of Wan Ton Mee was bad at $15 per plate but this $1.20 is worth every penny!

Thoughts: If you are a Singaporean, you would like say this Wan Ton Mee very Singaporean style! I guess at Jalan Alor, it did meant for international taste. But just down at Imbi, for $5.50; one can get much much much better Wan Ton Mee. The plate with chicken and barbecue pork costs $15! Very salty, chicken is over cooked, barbecue pork is very badly roasted. Maybe, it is really meant for the tourist taste. Ruined my morning!

Thoughts: One does need to have both an empty and healthy stomach when it comes to buffet. Gone are the days where I can eat really a lot. Typically Buffet in KL is now above $100. Perhaps the variety is not as great is before!
