Thoughts: This corner lot at Taipan is mischievously always changing business owners, it has changed businesses for many times. The last one close-down was Dim Sum, and now a Mixed Rice shop just opened a few weeks ago.
There were already at least 2 shops at Taipan just selling mixed rice, this now is the 3rd one; not forgetting at least few smaller vendors of mixed rice at corner coffee shops like NanKing and SinKong.
I always like the crunchiness of pig ears. For take-aways nowadays will costs an extra $0.50 each due to the new plastic-free policy that will was in full-forced starting 1 January. The state of Selangor will be plastic-free seven days a week, instead of the usual plastic-free Saturdays. Vendors who do not comply with face a fine up to RM1,000.
