Thoughts: Saravanaa Bhavan is one of the largest vegetarian restaurant chains in the world, founded in 1981 offering south Indian Vegetarian cuisine. There are branches at Brickfields, Bangsar, and I visited the one at Jalan Masjid India. In fact there are over 30 outlets in India and 47 around the world. The restaurant is called "hotel" because in India, the word "hotel" often implies a restaurant.
When I was active street photographing in KL, I frequented this place for its Masala Tea. Walked from China Town to Jalan Masjid India, I was looking forward for the spiced and herb tea. I was quite disappointed, it was overly sweet and lack the spices and herbs supposedly in a Masala Tea.
