Thoughts: McDonald's self-service kiosk (automatic order machines) is now at USJ 10, I first saw this quite some time ago on 11.12.2017 at McD KLCC Suria. The installation of the automated machine at USJ 10 was already several months now. Now, it seems that you can even customize your burger with choices of add-ons (like more cheese). However, the machine is only in English and Bahasa. There is also option to pay by card or cash at the counter.
I am getting the 草莓和香草锥盛冰淇淋 Sundae Strawberry & Vanilla Cone Ice Cream, I think you can also customize with Chocolate Top! Nice.
In UK, a company called "Evoke" has been manufacturing McDonald's automated ordering marchines since 2015 and have rolled out touch screen ordering to hundreds of McDonald’s sites across the UK and Ireland as part of the brand’s digital transformation strategy. The same year in 2015, McDonald's Hong Kong has also started similar Kiosk and I saw one 2 years ago, 11.07.2017 at McD Nathan's road where I ordered a Pork Sausage McMuffin with egg HKD$12!
