Thoughts: Started only a few years ago in 2011, now has 14 outlets across Malaysia (Penang, KL, Selangor, and Melacca). I think the USJ branch only openend 2-3 years back, and I like the offerings at all 3 of the bakeries here at Taipan USJ10 including Berry's (across the street) at USJ 10/1E or Pastisfrance at USJ 10/1B. There are 3 other bakeries: Baker's Cottage, Carpenters Daughters and KokoBakery in USJ10. All of them offers in my opinion, decent affordable pastries and bakeries.
For snacks, I am trying out the House-Cheese Tarts here with 5 variants: Original, Chocolate, Blue Berry, Strawbeery, and Passion Fruit. Price is $3.50/pc and 3 for $10.
I liked the 百香果奶酪馅饼 Passion Fruit Cheese Tart, Not bad!
8:30am seems a nice timing to visit the bakery as fresh bakes just come out from the oven and made ready for the counter for customer walk-in, only take-aways here. I think only Patisfrance and Carpenter's Daughters offer dining in.
