Thoughts: Mr Ronishah (a 2nd generation Indonesian Malaysian), runs the "Sri Gandus Apam Balek stall" at Chow Kit, selling the Indonesian desserts/pancake called Sri Gandus and Apam Balek. Mr Ronishah, in the early 30s has been helping his father (from Indonesia) since 11 and is now taken over the business from his father.
Sri Gandus is a thick pancake with fillings of red beans, pineapple, coconut, or kaya (offered here); I have not see this dessert before. The kaya filling and pineapple fillings were very appetizing. And cost only $0.40/pc (5 for rm$2).
