Thoughts: Taman Desa is off Old Klang Road, easy to find if you are familiar (Here is the GPS Location N3.10263 E101.68361), it is around 2-3km from Old Klang Road. The restaurant is not facing the main road of "Jalan Desa Bakti", you can park your car along Jalan Desa Bakti (under DBKL) or drive into the shop lot area and park inside the area (Paid Parking likely private area for the shop lots). The restaurant is located on the side-lanes among the shop lots. There are at least 3 restaurants that does BBQ here and one of them is the "Old Tricycle BBQ Yong Tau Foo" 弎輪車烤釀豆腐.
This is the first time I am trying out Yong Tau Foo BBQ style, but you can have it as non-BBQ as well. The price range from $1.90-$2.90; after ordering 5 pcs (minimum), the foreign worker even brought me a Tiger Beer! But I denied and ordered hot Beancurd Barley instead, the Barley comes in a "Mug" (old style Chinese Mug used for morning brushing teeth!); but the Barley is really think (not too sweet), very very nice indeed!
You can have the BBQ next to your table or have it cooked by them in their open door area and bring to your table.
The Fried Onion Chee Cheong Fun is also a nice choice, you can find 4 choices of CCF, and one of them is Pig Skin, I may try that one next time. Besides YTF and CCF, the restaurant also offers Portuguese BBQ with choice of Lala, Stingray, Squid, Prawns, or Mixed Seafood (prices are $16 - $19).
The location and table area's cleanliness are well maintained, comfortable atmosphere even outsides in the evening.
