Thoughts: All the way from China, with the Shipping charges "Waived"; this is a rm$3.99 "鋁製耳機支架 Aluminum headphone stand hanger" for the recently purchased "Edifier W800BT Headphone". The package comes with the Full Metal Hanger (Black color), supposedly with a "Curve Metal piece" and Silicon Gasket BUT looks like the actual item received wasn't exactly as the Product featured in Shopee (that is NO Curve metal where the headphone would sit on but since it is COD rm$4, can't really complain). The BOX comes with the Aluminum hanger along with 2 screws and 2 pieces of 3M tape. I believe you can mount it on Wall or Wood as long as the surface isn't rough. Both the 3M tape and screws are required to ensure the metal piece sticks firmly on the wood panel below the table top where it will be mounted. Although some heavy duty 3M double-sided tapes are reported to hold weights up to 90 pounds per square inch BUT not too sure if the 2 pieces of 3M provided can do the job, but will trying it out without the screws to see how it holds up.
Despite the item isn't exactly as advertised, and although there is a piece of silicon gasket/tape on the flat metal where the "soft leather" of the headphone will be sitting on; but it still not of curve shape. Hope this would not damage the headphone "soft leather". But since the Edifier W800BT Plus is quite light with the weight at about 200g, hope the light weight does not put too much stress on the "soft leather" when the headphone is hanging on that flat metal taped with the silicon.
Initial purchasing choice would have opted for a more expensive On-the-table Headphone Hanger (some better or beautiful ones can be from rm$30+ to rm$300+). But this rm$4 cheapskate hanger is of solid Aluminum metal, and it hides the Headphone just below the table top when not in used. However, the 2 screws provided are definitely necessary to hold the metal in place. The Aluminum headphone hanger should last longer than the Headphone itself which I expect the Edifier to last hopefully at least for 4 or 5 years.
Quite amazing is the logistics of this rm$4 COD item all the way from 深圳 Shengzhen, 中國 China from Order to Delivery to 吉隆坡 KL was just 8 days.
