The Café is open and operated by a Chinese lady with a Malay crew, no Pork nor Beef here and likely a Halal Café. Both the 胡蘿蔔核桃蛋糕 Carrot Walnut Cake & 烤土豆 Baked Potato sampled today were very good.
胡蘿蔔核桃蛋糕 Carrot Walnut Cakes are usually not that healthy and the cake is not just carrots and nuts but also fat, sugar, and oil, therefore it is a high calorie cake. Today's rm$8 "胡蘿蔔核桃蛋糕 Carrot Walnut Cake" wasn't too sweet nor too oily and quite moist. While the slightly expensive rm$8.90 "烤土豆 Baked Potato" was well baked with butter, sour cream, and garnished with green onions.
Taman Wangsa Ukay or Bukit Antarabangsa is a hillside township located in Ulu Klang, Ampang District in Selangor. The area is well known for being an affluent residential suburb occupied by celebrities and political figures. There were several landslide here in the early 90s up to 2008 indicates that this location is a high risk area for landslide. And the famous disastrous landslide of a hill side in 11th December, 1993 which caused the 12-story Highland Tower to collapse and resulted in 48 deaths was a big local news at that time. Driving up to this hilly area of Ampang today, there are still many Semi-D's, luxurious Bungalows, and Condominiums; and many of the properties here are valued above rm$1,000,000.
