Thoughts: Today's dinner in Kuantan is yet another perhaps "only the locals know" good food places in Kuantan. And it is "Simuk Cikeng Geril" where "Sikmuk = Nasi Lemak", "Cikeng = Chicken", and "Geril = Grill"; thus "Simuk Cikeng GeriL" is literally Nasi Lemak with Grilled Chicken 椰漿飯配烤雞!

The rm$12.50 "椰漿飯配烤雞 Sikmuk Cikeng Geril" comes with a slightly charred but tender, tasty and juicy grilled chicken along with white rice plus the usual anchovies and cucumber as a nasi lemak dish; and on the side two plates of home-made sambal sauce (one for the nasi lemak and another for the grilled chicken)!
"Local Cafe" is name of the Warung, just beside one of the maybe less know beach in Kuantan called Pantai Pelindung. The Warung opens only in the evening from 5pm for dinner where its signature dish is Grilled chicken, beef or lamb that can be either just the meat dish or to-go with Nasi Lemak. Also tried the Lekor (on the house) which was excellent as well.
The Cafe is something like 3km south of Pantai Batu Hitam or 6km drive to the North of Kuantan via Jalan Berserah connecting Jalan Kuantan-Kemaman but best to use Waze as it is maybe around 1km off the trunk road.
