Thoughts: This Classic Café in town with local traditional menu, it is "Periuk Ali Russia Café" with the interesting local theme and decoration. A place to "lepak" in a lazy afternoon with one of the best food places in Kuantan, kind of Instagram worthy Malay Café. The Malay Cafe's signature dish is "雞肉碎飯 Nasi Berlauk Ayam cincang", as well as "辣私" Lakse and 叻參 Laksam, plus a variety of Malay Kueh Mueh.

Final breakfast in Kuantan before heading to the Airport is a rm$6.50 東馬"辣私" Lakse. Both Lakse and Laksam shares the same kind of whitish brown color sauce. Both Laksam and Lakse are probably specialty in the East Coast, and maybe especially in Kelantan. Laksam is made with very thick flat white rice flour noodles. and Laksam is served with white gravy of boiled fish and coconut milk, and garnish with raw vegetables like shredded cucumber. Today's Lakse comes with thinner white rice flour noodles (like the Chinese yellow noodle) but also served with sauce similar to Laksem, topped with sliced cucumbers, belacan, and red sambal chili.
