Today's lunch is a rm$7.50 "六叔碳燒麵包+蛋 Uncle 6 Signature Bak Kwa Bread + Egg" with a buttered 熱狗麵包 hot dog bun lightly toasted, sandwiched in it is a 肉乾 Bak Kwa + 黃瓜 cucumber + 肉絲/肉鬆 Meat floss with 番茄辣椒醬 tomato chili sauce. Another 肉乾麵包 Bak Kwa bread variant without the Egg is rm$6.50. 
The 1-page menu includes: Ric dishes (椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, 粥 Porridge, 台灣滷肉飯 Taiwanese Braised Pork rice, Curry rice, 日式炸鸡排 Tonkatsu chicken rice) and Noodle dishes (板麵 Pan Mee & 叻沙 Laksa) from rm$8 to rm$17.50, as well as a variety of sandwich breads (牛油/咖椰 吐司/牛油包 Kaya/Butter Toast/Croissant,  Bak Kwa breads + an interesting signature 甜甜圈 Donut) from rm$4.50 to rm$8. 
Born and raised in 冼都 Sentul, 蔡叔 Uncle Chai or people just call him “六叔 Uncle Six”, is an 80-year-old man who has been selling 炭烤肉乾 charcoal-toasted Bak Kwa buns (Sandwich buns with BBQ dried meat with meat floss) since 1982, on his humble motorcycle in the streets of KL; and there are even replica of Uncle Six's 本田摩托車 Honda Cub in both shops at 吉隆坡半山芭 Jalan Pudu and the 蒲種公主城 Puchong Bandar Puteri. The aging 六叔 Uncle Six later settled for a stall at 燕美市場 Imbi market initially but soon after the closure of the old Imbi market in 2016, moved to a fixed spot at 半山芭富都巴刹 ICC Pudu. BUT in December 2021, Uncle Chai officially has his own Café located in Pudu's Lorong Brunei 3; where he collaborated with Gary Lim (now the business owner of the 2 shops). The 2nd location which is 蒲種公主城六叔碳茶 Puchong Bandar Puteri's Uncle 6 Toast Bar opened less than a month ago in June 24, 2022. 
Bak kwa (In Hokkien where "Bak" = Meat and "Kwa" = Dried, so Bak kwa = Dried meat) or 肉乾 "Rou gan" (Chinese Pork Jerky) is thought to have derived from a meat preservation and preparation technique used in ancient China. But there are history records that it is considered a 福建風味 Hokkien delicacy as it originated from the 福建省 Fujian province. And it is the 福建移民 Hokkien immigrants from Fujian as early as the 15th century, most of them to escape poverty to find new life in 南洋 NanYang, and the Hokkiens reputedly brought this delicacy with them. In old china, the consumption of meat was considered a luxury usually reserved for Festivities such as the celebration of Chinese New Year. Some people say that the deep red color of the barbecued pork jerky's is considered auspicious in Chinese tradition, symbolizing 好運 good luck and believed to 抵禦負能量 ward off negative energies! And that is why "Bak kwa" is a popular CNY Prosperity Gift Box!
