Thoughts: In my opinion, one of the must try Egg Tart in Hong Kong is the Egg Tarts by 檀島咖啡餅店 Honolulu Cafe (available in Wan Chai), but there are several 老字号 in Hong Kong that offers Egg Tarts; namely 泰昌餅家 Tai Cheong Bakery, 豪華餅店 Hoover Cake Shop (uses duck egg), 金鳳茶餐廳 Kam Fung Restaurant (excellent egg tart and HK milk tea), just to name few!
Quite happy to know that 檀島咖啡餅店 Honolulu Cafe now has location in Sunway Pyramids as well as Mid Valleys! The Sunway Pyramid branch opened 2 years ago in Q4 2017.
The "蛋挞 Egg Tart" as well as the Hong Kong milk tea is a must try here!
