Thoughts: Perhaps one of the best adventures in Penang Georgetown is to scout the back streets to hunt for delightful hawker foods, either in the morning and early evenings. This one is a push-cart stall which only opens for 3 hours from 6:30pm and I believe the uncle is busy for the entire 3 hours every evening. Ordered both the "炒河粉 Char Hor fun & 福建炒 Hokkien Char", very good Wok Hei as both plates were delivered within minutes of ordering. Somehow, I prefer the 福建炒 Hokkien Char over the 炒河粉 Char Hor fun. Quick a big portion for rm$7 per serving.
361 Char Horfun/Hokkien Char is a hidden gem, tucked away near the cross-road of Gat Lebuh Melayu/Lebuh Melayu and Lebuh Pantai (Beach Street); just on the road side of no.361 shop lot which is closed at night. Dining is at make-shift tables along the veranda of the shop lots.
