Thoughts: This is one Craft Beer location I have planned for a few weeks; finally decided but getting there is no easy task. Although it was less then 1.5km, Waze directed a route that end up in 20 minutes. Arriving at 5pm+, couldn't find an MBPJ parking and ended up in Uptown 2 for a $3/hour parking. (Nevertheless, double-parking seems the norm and honking every now and then when blocked cars wanted to leave)
The trip was fruitiful, I finally got a taste of our very own local water hole with Craft Tap Beer. The Bar offers 8 taps and regularly change-over to new ones in 1-2 weeks as the tap finishes. A variety of other bottled craft beers are also offered. To go with the beer, 8 types of skewers (meat and vegetables) are offered.
Happy Hour Craft beer is 4-7pm around rm$20 for 220ml (around 25-30% off the regular). This evening I am having 2 German craft beers. First the Camba Bavaria 4 Sessions, kind of bitter sweet taste and easy drink, very good golden yellowish color with foamy white head, and just slightly fruity! The Second was the M.C Wieninger Lager ABV4.9% rm$20 (220ml) $25 normal price (German Craft Beer), it is a Lager beer (light and color body) with a 4.9%ABV! Happy Hour offers the 220ml for about rm$20 with regular hours at rm$25-$28 onwards, the 330ml regular hours at rm$30-$36 (depending on the tap)!
I tried 4 of the skewers, nicely done at $3-$5 each stick. Service was great here with the bartender recommeding taps, but that was manybe the bar only have few customer this evening. Taps get changed every 1-2 weeks! The bar is just next to Damansara-Puchong highway at Damansara Uptown, expensive paid parking at the Mall as free after hours MBPJ parking depending on luck!
