Thoughts: Notice a red line on the second right of the screen. Initially I thought its a particular App as the red line does not appear on the main menu but only on App screens, after checking and realize the red line appears as long as an App is launched. (maybe the red line did not show on the main menu due to the wall paper color), but on a "white" screen on App screens, it does shows up clearly!

Went to Samsung at Main Place to verify the issue; was told if the shop helps to send for LCD replacement (under Warranty), it will take 5-7 working days as this include Samsung collecting from the shop and returning. And was suggested by Stanny to go directly to Samsung Pyramid where if stocks is available, it will take 2-4 hours LCD replacement on the same day.

Stanny also showed a simple method to verify certain technical faults of the phone without actually dissecting the phone apart.
Just use the phone dialer to type "*#0*#" as below:

You will be presented a menu as follows:

*#0*#
Method 1: press "LED"
This method shows Color RED, GREEN, BLUE as you scroll each page; the display is also in white but will show the words in different colors and any other faults on the LCD screen.

Method 2: press "RECEIPT"
as it is a bright white screen, any LCD color faults can generally be easily seen on the display. Mine is the RED line on the white screen.

The above are quick methods to verify LCD color faults. As you can see on the menu, there are other TEST like SPEAKER, SENSOR, Camera, Vibration, and other test. So, the method presents a quick self check on Samsung phone to verify any suspected faults. It is good to know the feature.

Apparently, Galaxy S7 Edge suffering from "RED" or "PINK" link syndrome is a common issue among S7 Edge owners! This irrevocable "color" line on the display screen is the tell tale sign that the LCD Display is failing. If it is still under Warranty, it is high time to get the LCD screen replaced before it ultimately fails entirely.
