Thoughts: Netizens say that the "CEO Latte" is worth sampling and now, comes with a Promo of "Buy 1 free 1" via the ZUS APP order. But today's Coffee is a rm$10.90 "西班牙冰拿鐵 Iced Spanish Latte"! A Spanish Latte is also called a "Café con Leche". It’s an 濃縮咖啡 espresso-based drink with 燙牛奶 scalded milk, which 西班牙人 Spaniards usually enjoy with their breakfast. All you need to make it at home is water, espresso, and milk and the Spaniards prefer to use 全脂牛奶 whole milk for this Latte while other forms of Lattes (McCabe, Starbucks etc) usually uses 蒸泡沫牛奶 steamed foamed milk. The Spaniards also like to add some sugar to their Spanish Latte and it is therefore often sweeter than a normal Latte.
ZUS Coffee is Malaysia's very own homegrown Café that serves freshly brewed specialty coffee. Just barely 3 years ago, in 2019 amidst the Covid-19 where it open its first outlet at the KL Binjai (just behind 日航酒店 Hotel Nikko or 800m+ from 吉隆坡城中城 KLCC, nearer to the 敦拉薩連貫公路 Jalan Tun Razak Highway). All Coffee at ZUS are brewed using unique coffee beans from 巴西 Brazil FAF (福塔雷薩環境農場 Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza) that are roasted locally. AND every cup of Hot Coffee comes with a perfect Blue Signature ZUS Cup. The PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue, was voted as PANTONE’s colour of the year 2020. PLUS the chilled or cold drinks will come with a 100% plant-based "稻草環保吸管 Rice Straw", but not sure if its plastic cups are 可生物降解 biodegradable although it is probably 可回收 recyclable! While many individuals, Cafes and Restaurants are switching from plastic straws to metal straws; but with so many people sharing the same metals straw, there is a problem of how metal straws are to be washed and cleaned effectively. Thus, the disposable, biodegradable and even edible Rice straws is probably the ultimate solution! The FIRST Rice straw appear in 2019, and said to be invented by a Taiwanese 黃千鐘 Mr Huang Chien-chung when he introduce the friendly drinking straws made of 稻殼 rice hulls and 廢茶葉 waste tea leaves. In the same year of 2019, Penang-based NLYTech Biotech launched a product called RiceStraws (made of mostly rice and 木薯 tapioca used as 混凝劑 coagulant). NLYTech claims that the RiceStraws can be decompose completely in 90 days while they don’t exactly dissolve in drinks, they do soften up after a while. The rice straws can last for 2 to 3 hours in hot drinks and 4 to 10 hours in cold drinks.
