Thoughts: "Locker & Loft" is a speakeasy bar! There are no sign boards at the location; as when you arrive at Damansara Kim, look out for 99 Mart and Hoi Li Chow Restaurant. The staircase in between the 2 shops is where you should stride up to the 2nd floor; and when arrive at a metal door with beer kegs everywhere, don't hesitate to pull the door to get into the speakeasy bar.
It isn't too big as its occupying just one shop lot, but there are dining tables, high chair tables, bar counter with high chairs, a sofa area for a "group discussion", as well as the veranda that also houses a barbecue grill.
My choice of beer bites was the "印度羊肉咖喱配墨西哥芝士馅饼 Mutton Varuval Quesadilla" which the bar tender also highly recommended to go with beer, the recipe is indian curry mutton sandwiched between crispy Mexican tortilla called "Quesadilla" which definitely goes well with beer. Though at rm$25 for 6 pcs, I definitely liked this one. The beer bites was listed among another 14+ bites in the Tapas section; other beer bites are some choices of skewers. For meals, there are soups, salads, 12 mains to choose from including burgers, fried rice, pasta, and a few steaks where pork steak is one of them. Will the Full Bar from Rum, Tequilla, Gin, Vodka, Whiskies, Brandies, Cognacs, to Punch bowls and even DIY cocktails; one probably is spoiled with the liquor choices here. (too bad none which I know how to appreciate yet!)
For tonight's beverage starter, the bar tender recommended their signature "Kelapa Rock", a cocktail of fresh coconut water, vodka, and sugar syrup. Not too strong, I suppose; but again, what do I know about vodka or cocktail drinks!
Maybe not surprisingly that Locker & Loft also have some craft beers in stocks; although with a limited choice. It's my second time having the Brewdog Dead Pony Club, which is a session Pale Ale at 3.8% ABV. Locker & Loft offers Brewdog's top selling Craft beers: Punk IPA, Dead Pony Club and 5AM Saint! Not only that but also the very fruity Elvis Juice and bitter Jackhammer as well. Other currently on tap commercial beers are Tiger white and Guinness.
No question that definitely like this hidden bar, with so much booze to choose from and if other food items in the menu are as good as tonight's mutton varuval, then good food as well.
Lots of parking in front of this one row of shop lots along SS20/10 where there are at least 3 pubs, and maybe 6 eateries that operates in the evening here; that makes the parking here slightly challenging. The closest public transport is the TTDI LRT station (Kajang - Sg Buloh line), which is less than 5 minutes walk to the Speakeasy bar.
