Thoughts: Tried the Udang Merah Cendol 2 weeks ago same place here at Medan Selera Delima, today the Musang King is it stock at $25 for small cendol bowl and $30 for large cendol. Personally, I like the Udang Merah version; though it is exotically expensive dessert.
The next one, hope to try is the D24 Durian Cendol, soon!
According to a recent food article, the price of the current Musang King at $100/$120 per kg will be dropping to a much more forgiving price of $50/$60 per kg during the November-December durain harversting period in Pahang! This is due to the yield of durian in the Pahang state alone would increase in 10 to 20 folds which will inevitably drag down the price of the much-loved Musang King durian. It was estimated that the durian fever will persist until next years Chinese New Year! If this News is true, all local Durian lovers are in for a great treat from now until February 2018.
