Thoughts: Looks like there are 2 "888 開飯咯食堂 (or 888 Kaifan)", one in Solaris Dutamas and this one in PJ's Phileo Damansara (which opened somewhere in Q4 of 2019). The Canteen offers local breakfast as well as Mixed Rice and Chinese Goreng-Goreng from lunch onwards.
Twice vising here, once for Wanton Mee breakfast and another time for the Mixed rice lunch. There are 2 Economy mixed rice lunch in Phileo Damansara which are "Happy Chef Corner" and "888Kaifan"; both generally offering affordable and reasonably good mixed rice and both are also equally popular to office workers here at Phileo.
Last visit here was January 2020, and there is now a change in the breakfast menu from toast set to noodles and curry chicken with bread for price range of rm$3.50 to rm$7.50; also available are a limited choice of Bao and some Dim Sum! The kopitiam also mass produce its own nasi lemak packets (selling at rm$1.20/packet) which it delivers to Tesco; Dine in nasi lemak set is rm$3.50 which comes with 2 packets of nasi lemak as well as choice of coffee or tea. The "cartoon" size nasi lemak packet comes with super spicy sambal as well as a slice of egg with the coconut rice!
