Thoughts: Common Man Coffee Roaster or CMCR KL is located in KL TTDI's Plaza Vads, offering 12 choices of all-day brunch menu, 7 days a week. Menu items include the Common Man Full Breakfast and Common Man Fluffy Pancakes with caramelized banana, walnuts, berry coulis and salted caramel sauce as well as Club Sandwich. So, besides the 12 choices of brunches, there are also 7 westerns (burgers, pastas, salad) as well as 6-7 types of cakes and the churros! plus a good choice of coffee and tea. (the cold brew looks interesting).
The "印度香料拿鐵 Dirty Chai Latte" is rm$17.40 (including Tax); aromatic and flavorful smell and taste, smooth drinking experience; but which is almost 3 plates of the chicken rice I had just half-an-hour ago! Nevertheless, an excellent cuppa after a simpler meal, was told by the manager that the spices for the Chai Latte is one of their specialty recipe from their kitchen. From the Manager to Barista and Waiter to Waitresses; looks like the entire Cafe is serviced by a team of Filipinos, with excellent service offered today.
Common Man Coffee Roaster is located at the ground floor of Plaza Vads (an office block), right at the Plaza's main entrance. From the entrance with tables for one/two (great for all-day web surfing) as the Cafe opens from 8 am to 5pm! Further into its interior, the cafe show off its beautiful a bar counter in the middle of the interior (for coffee and beverage making) with comfortable bar counter chairs. Surrounding the bar counter are different seating arrangements in a fairly large but cozy space and interesting lighting setup. Parking may be challenging here throughout the day until before the Cafe closes at 5pm; except maybe before 9am as the Cafe opens at 8am. Private parking inside Plaza Vads is available with rm$3 for 2 hours, Pasar Besar TTDI offers a cheaper rm$2 for 2 hours parking. The nearest LRT station is the TTDI LRT station with maybe around 5 minutes or less walking distance.
