Thoughts: There is a new Watering Hole in Subang Jaya, opened in March, a neighbourhood bar which is located inside the residential area of USJ16. The Food & Wine/Beer bar is the creation of mr. Magen and his friend. I'd say this is a good location as there isn't any gastropub nearby, parking is easy in the quite neighbourhood of USJ16.
The Food menu recipes are mainly Western with an Indian twist. My "Neighbourhood Killer Chop" with is a well marinated grilled chicken chop with home-made special sauce with an indian flavor, the plate also comes with patato wedges, button mushrooms and a little salad on the side and basically I liked it.
For wine, its the Wine Bar's house wine "禾富神雕白葡萄酒 Wolf Blass Bilyara", an Australian White Wine. The Wolf Blass Bilyara Chardonnay is a medium-bodied white wine with an inviting flavor of tropical fruit with peach and melon aromas complexed with hints of toasty French oak. A good paring with rich fish, seafood or egg dishes, chicken, turkey, pork, creamy pasta, nuts, root vegetables and pumpkin.
I'd recommend this Gastropub, and I think it's still quite a family friendly restaurant-bar. Certainly, looking forward to try other recipes offered in their menu!
