Thoughts: Compared to "有记瓦煲肉骨茶 Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh", its next door neighbor; you can easily find a table in "铭香肉骨茶 Restoran Ming Siang Bak Kut Teh" while Yu Kee is packed with customers inside and along the shop lot walkway. Judging from the constant crowd in Yu Kee, its probably the popular BKT destination compared the other 4 or maybe 6/8 BKT in SS14 alone.
Anyway, "铭香肉骨茶 Restoran Ming Siang Bak Kut Teh" not only offers Bak Kut Teh (both soup and dry versions), but also 猪脚醋 Vinegar Pig's Trotter, 黄酒鸡 Yellow wine Chicken, 蒸鱼 Steamed fish as well as 咖喱鱼头 Curry Fish Head. Perhaps, because of the much lesser crowd compared to its neighbour, service at Ming Siang was much more responsive when requesting for additional BKT soup or any other additional request. The Dry & Soup Bak Kut Teh sampled was at best average in taste, Soup BKT tends towards saltiness and less herbal while Dry BKT was bitterly sweet! I'd say preference on the taste and style of BKT is a personal one but after visiting Yu Kee too many times, it is also time to sample the other nearby BKT shops in SS14.
