Thoughts: Located at a Prime Spot in Jalan Penang is 群宾茶餐室 Kafe Kheng Pin; even with the emergence of new eateries as well as abudance of so many choices of food stalls nearby, the Kopitiam is still a popular place to eat. It was packed today at Lunch time, there is no option by table sharing. Uncle Lau's amazing spread of Lobak is said to be a must try here and minimum order is rm$6 (and you don't get to choose until you order > rm$6)! Definitely a good choice, while the Hainan chicken rice is so so, not bad but not the best; nevertheless, the chicken rice seems a popular choice for locals and tourists visiting the kopitiam; mine came after waiting 15 minutes.
Kafe Kheng Pin is just minutes away from Cititel Penang. It is strategically located at the Junction of Jalan Penang and Jalan Sri Bahari.
