Thoughts: Cheers to the bars and pubs along Ipoh's Jalan Lau Ek Ching (millionaire street of ipoh); the street and nearby vicinity maybe has a dozen or so watering holes.
Bricks & Barrels also feature life bands; I know of a Bricks & Barrels in KL Hartamas as well. This one here in Ipoh has a great interior, with areas for dining, drinking, and even some darts throwing. It is not just a watering hole but a "gastropub" where its also serving high-quality food. The food, next time as I'd had dinner before coming to this one.
The pub have some quiet/private corners as well, a little bit further away from the life band. Great experience and excellent time here with a Chardonnay between my fingers!
