Thoughts: Chinese Beef noodle generally is quite a 'rare' thing in KL, perhaps it's because many Buddhist (Malaysia Indians as well) do not consume beef. Despite many Chinese (6 million) in Hong Kong and many are Buddhist (others are Christians) but it is also an international city with many tourist from around the world; food choices are in a larger variety in this very densely populated island, and this include beef related cuisines.
This one for breakfast specializing in beef noodle, likely a popular spot for tourist from China as it is just opposite a hotel and bus stop (Trans-Islands Chinalink) to/from GuangZhou, China. The restaurant has 3 tables, all packed with China Tourist.
The dry noodle is certainly a dry one, comes with a clear beef soup, no other sides like vegetables but only beef tenderloin, the saltiness is just right. Where in KL or PJ, many hawker stalls owners (local Chinese) left their stalls with a foreigner to handle its cooking and serving to customers; while in Hong Kong, such little stalls (shops) are still handled by a local Chinese Hong Kong. And perhaps thats why quality is maintained, else the shop would not survive too long under the scrutiny of "Pickey Eaters" of local Hong Kong people!
Review: 6 / 10 👍😋
