Food Thoughts: Returning back to Masjih Al-Madaniah on Friday for lunch. Meal no 1 for lunch is the Laksa Johor where the main ingredient is fish in the laksa gravy; mackerel, sardine, and kembong. The gravy filled noodle was garnished with "preserved vegetables", bean sprouts, and chopped green onions. It was a fishy meal and wasn't too bad at all.
After the Friday solat completed, one of the stalls offered free meal for muslims (or anyone are welcome). So for Lunch Meal no 2, I settled for Lontong Kering with Rendang Ayam. It was Lontong Kering and therefore did not came with gravy but rather sweet sambal on the side, some "sohun" together with the Lontong, and serunding (seasoned yellow coconut flakes"). Despite being a dry version of Lontong, surprisingly it tasted really good.
