Food Thoughts: The Mee Rebus is not really that special, just that "Mee Rebus Tulang" comes with two large Lamb Leg bone. Not much meat on it, and even with a straw, not much "bone marrow" as well. However, the Kathira Drink of "Air Katira" was very nice. "Air Katira" is a drink usually served during the Ramadhan month, said to be for thirst quencing during "breaking fast". The main ingredient for the Kathira Drink is Almund Gums (Getah Anggur) or 杏仁胶, where chinese use it for healthy desserts and can be found as one of the ingredients in 莲子羹 "Leng Chee Kang" as well. There many variants of the Kathira Drink, the one prepared at "Bisik Bisik" is made of grind Pandan leaf mixed with soda and milk. I would not hesitate to try another variant of this drink again elsewhere in another Malay restaurant.
