Thoughts: A rather wet morning on Malaysia day! Planned for vegetarian at "New Sin Kong" but closed on Merdeka day. The vegetarian stall at "Nan King" opens today but I changed my mind for some Chee Cheong Fun. The stall used to run by a middle aged couple where the man always shouted at his wife, never notice the wife mumble a word in reply to his shoutings! But the stall seems now taken over by a younger chinese man helped by a foreigner. I hope the middle age couples life changed for the better and the man treats his wife better!
I got a plate of not so presentable mixed of chee cheong fun and yong tao fu flooded with sweet and chili sauce. Looks apart, the fish paste did not felt too fresh with refrigeration taste. For the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was bad pieces I picked for my plate!
