Thoughts: New Lane Hawker Centre is the heaven of food for both Penangites as well as Tourists as they are many hotels within walking distance to this street Food lane. Off Jalan Macalister, Lorong Baru where "New Lane Hawker Center" is inside any building but with variety of hawker stalls along Lorong Baru. It is just barely 200m from Jalan Penang where Komtar is located.

Starting at 4pm, pushcart hawker stalls start setting up their stalls with make-shift tables along the road! I believe customer can have their hawker food deliver to the indoor kopitiams as long as you order drinks from the kopitiam. The concept is pretty simple; you will first need to order from the hawkers and they will deliver it to your table.
