Thoughts: Was here on July 8.2019, located in an alley off 槟城喬治市中心地區的新街 Campbell Street and arrived here just around 8am today when it just opened AND already customers were waiting to savor Toh Soon's Bread + Halfed-Boiled Egg and Kopi OR perhaps a pack of Nasi Lemak Bungkus! BUT 30minutes into 8am, the 15+ tables were already packed with customers and many are queuing for their turn for a table.
Thoughts: Was here on July 8.2019, located in an alley off 槟城喬治市中心地區的新街 Campbell Street and arrived here just around 8am today when it just opened AND already customers were waiting to savor Toh Soon's Bread + Halfed-Boiled Egg and Kopi OR perhaps a pack of Nasi Lemak Bungkus! BUT 30minutes into 8am, the 15+ tables were already packed with customers and many are queuing for their turn for a table.
Although the 老牌海南咖啡店 old-style Hainanese Kopi shop is sitting on an alley, the location is really quite clean and tidy (no foul smells). There are 7 types of 吐司 Toast or 蒸麵包 Steamed bread including even Polo Bun (from rm$4 to rm$5 per serving), and the highly recommended are their 海南麵包 Hainanese Bread and 炭烤麵包 Charcoal Bread. The breads can go with either 加椰 Kaya, 奶油 Butter, 花生醬 Peanut butter or 煉乳 Condensed milk! To accompany the variety of drinks (hot and cold drinks) here can be either 葉包椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak Bungkus, 烤麵包餅乾條 Roti Kok, 半熟蛋 Half-boiled egg or 雞蛋吐司 Egg-on-Toast.
