Thoughts: 叉燒陽 Restoran Char Siew Yoong! dubbed as one of the "must eat" if you are craving for "caramelized" charsiew; some say that the meat "melts" in your month! It is difficult not to like this particular shop's Charsiew recipe, caramalized but yet not overly sweet and sinful 3-layer pork! Roasted chicken was also good, but worth mentioning is the braised chicken feet. The 滷水 must be the secret recipe behind the taste and texture of the tasty chicken feet! Besides 叉燒 Charsiew, 燒雞 Roasted Chicken and 滷雞腳 braised Chicken feet; 叉燒陽 also offers 滷豬腳 braised Pork trottle, 燒肉 Siew yoke, and 酸辣菜!
The shop opens at 10:30am and best to be at the shop before 11am. Not just the parking is extremely challenging, but finding a table around lunch times maybe difficult. Neverheless, service was swift today as the ordered items came within a few minutes from ordering.
A place highly recommended if you are craving for sweet caramalized tender charsiew! Looking forward to sample the shop's braised pork trottle and siew yoke in the near future!
