Thoughts: This is a good Bak Kut Teh place, but do not expect "too cleanly" looking environment. Parking is really also at your own risk with lots of traffic going in-out of the access road. Nevertheless, a BKT location worth the drive to PJ Old Town.
Try to be here around 6-7pm (as it only open for dinner), and after 7pm will be crowded. There wasn't a menu, the "Si Tau Po" comes by and take the order. When food is served, there is immediately an extra bowl of soup, the taste is quite "herbally" in flavour and not too sweet or salty. The BKT meal comes with plastic bowls (not the usual claypot)! When ask for meat choice, was offered either pork belly or "pai guat" or "sau yoke". You can also order extra "Tao Fu Pok" and Vegetables as side dishes.
I do find that the restaurant offers generous bowl of pork belly at the price charged, and service was quite past (from order to food on the table less than 10 minutes). 兴记肉骨茶 Heng Kee Bak Kut Teh is probably one of the better known BKT in the PJ area as leaving at 7pm+ on a Tuesday night, the place was already full!
