Food Thoughts: The morning/lunch here may not be the same as the bustling crowds in the evening! But from 10am, you can find noodles (mee bandung, char koay teow), rojak, tofu bakar and the infamous Cendol Durian!
Today's choice of durian are "Kahwin", "D13" and "101". My choice was "D13" to go with the Cendol at $17 for small with 2 pieces of Durian, but add $3 you get 1 more pieces of Durian (3 piecies) on the Cendol. Everything was on the sweet side, very cooling dessert under the hot afternoon sun.
First time I am having the "Char Koay Teow" Basah (Wet version of Char Koay Teow Malay Style), it's really like Cantonese Fried Noodle Char Koay Teow style! All hot and spicy, I mean the "Char Koay Toew" Basah, Mee Bandung Johor as well as Rojak Sotong and good ending with the icy cold sweet durian!
Rojak Sotong Malay style here comes with a more diluted sauce (not too nutty), I do prefere the Indian style from this one served here!
