Thoughts: Daddy & Co is a new player in the food & beverage industry with the mission to serve quality and affordable food & drinks. The brand was established just last year in September 2020 with the first outlet launched at SS15, Subang Jaya, and looking forward become a nationwide franchise in the Gastropub market.

The brand was established just last year in September 2020 with the first outlet launched at SS15, Subang Jaya, and looking forward become a nationwide franchise in the Gastropub market.
SS15's "Daddy & Co" takes up a corner shop lot with at least 100 seat capacity, about half-of them with high chairs and many more indoors. The Gastropubs offers lunch starting from 12 noon, with Happy hours until 6pm and runs for another 6 hours until mid-night. Happy Hours beer are from rm$10 - rm$12 with Tiger, Heineken, and Guinness on tab; bottled beers and soju choices are also in the menu. Food menu includes Appetizer, Pizza, Burger, Salad, Sandwich, a variety of Main Course, Pasta, some Asian choices, Soup, and Desserts. There are also 16 choices of Weekday only Set lunches with prices from rm$9.80 to rm$14.80 that comes with Soup of the day and Ice Lemon Tea.
Too bad and interesting, my immediate choices of the Gastropubs signature dishes "Stuffed Chicken Roulade" and "Cheesy Mushroom Daddy's Eyes" for lunch were "Out of Order" at 12 noon when the Pub just open its business for the day! Settled for lunch with just a bottle of "虎牌冰釀啤酒 Tiger Crystal".
Fun Facts: The world’s first batch of 虎牌 Tiger Beer came out from 馬來亞啤酒有限公司 Malayan Breweries Limited 90 years ago in Singapore in 1931. The beer bottles first labels were "Malaya Brewery Limited" with "Tiger and Coconut Tree" as its Logo on the beer bottle! In 1965, against the exciting backdrop of Singapore emerging as an independent nation, Tiger launches its first 罐裝啤酒 canned beer. Since then, the company expanded its portfolio of premium beer and cider brands like 喜力啤酒 Heineken, 健力士 Guinness, 強弓蘋果啤酒 Strongbow, 群島精釀啤酒 Archipelago Craft beer, and 低酒精和無酒精啤酒 low- and no-Alcohol beers. In 1990, 亞太釀酒廠 Asia Pacific Breweries (the new name of Tiger parent company) migrates Tiger Beer production to a new, state-of-the-art brewery, with a S$200 million investment, with the factory in the 新加坡島西側 West side of the Singapore Island, right along the AYE Toll road.
The "虎牌冰釀啤酒 Tiger Crystal" is a new Product variant of the Tiger Beer, launched in 2019. The beer is brewed using a unique "-1°C冰釀過濾技術工藝" Crystal Cold Filtration brewing process, which filters it at a crystal cold temperature below zero degrees that 去除啤酒的雜質 removes impurities in beer and 保留最純粹的口感 retains the purest taste. Tiger Crystal comes in a 330ml clear glass bottle and has an ABV of 4.2%, as compared to the regular Tiger Beer with an alcohol level of 5%. In Malaysia, the Tiger Beers are brewed by 喜力馬來西亞有限公司 Heineken Malaysia Berhad (which is the leading brewery in Malaysia) with its brewery in 八打靈再也 Petaling Jaya.Beer today: 7 / 10 👍👍😋😋
