Thoughts: The new 曼煎粿攤位 Apam Balik stall called "Sunny Lamb Traditional Apam Balik", at the entrance USJ10 Taipan's "大班茶鋪 TCK Taipan City Kopitiam" started operation since End of July (for around one month),. AND offering 21 flavors of Apam Balik from Original (with the usual Corn + Butter + Peanuts) at rm$2/pc to Chocolate and Cheese infused Apam Balik.
BUT the stall rental is as high as rm$800 to rm$1200+ per month in Taipan area, the owner will likely seek another spot for his Apam Balik business soon! 
The popular sweet Malaysian dessert has many names: Apam Balik (or "Turnover Pancake") also called as "Apom Balik" or even "Martabak Manis" or "Terang Bulan" (月光 literally Moon Light probably due to the corn and the circular shape when it is cooked in a round pan)! The famous pancake that widely known to all Malaysian can be found in many roadside stalls operated by Malays and Chinese, whether in morning markets, Pasar Malam or Food Courts. The dessert pancake is a traditional 福建小吃 Hokkien Chinese snack, known as 麵煎糕 Min-Jian-Kue n 福建 Fujian, 中國 China, and was introduced by the Hokkien in Penang, which is then called as 曼煎糕 Ban-Jian_Kue!.

Thoughts: 恭和堂 Koong Woh Tong established it’s first shop in 1990 at 吉隆坡 Kuala Lumpur, 馬來西亞 Malaysia. For more than 30 years, and at least for the Malaysian Chinese community, the brand has grown from strength to strength and become synonymous with Chinese herbal healthcare products. At present, there are probably more than 50 outlets within Peninsula Malaysia, with its presence mostly located within the major shopping malls. The company also expanded to Singapore island with at least  8 outlets in Singapore. 恭和堂 Koong Woh Tong first began its business of selling Chinese traditional herbal jelly "龜苓膏 Guilinggao" and  花茶 Herbal Teas, namely "五花茶 Wu Hua Cha" and "廿四味 Ya Sei Mei" in Malaysia.
南宋末年 at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty 八百年前 800 years ago, 陸秀夫 Lu Xiufu discussed with the 御醫 imperial doctor to improve the 宫廷中一种清热去濕的養生食療秘方 original palace's secret recipe for heat-clearing and dehumidifying food therapy on the basis of jelly grass, adding 鷹嘴龜 Eagle-billed turtle, 土伏苓 Soil bark, 生地 Raw land, 蒲公英 Dandelion, and 金银花 Honeysuckle. Among other raw materials, the local "凉粉草 Liangfencao" unique to Xinhui Yashan was added to make a paste medicine, which was also the prototype of 膏狀藥物 Guiling paste.
The medicinal effect of Guiling ointment mainly comes from the 龜板 turtle shell and 土茯苓 Smilax poria. The 龜板 turtle board is rich in 骨膠原 collagen, and the 金錢龜最有效 golden turtle is the most effective. However, because the 金錢龜為受保護動物 golden turtle is a protected animal, the turtle paste made from it is expensive and illegal. Therefore, most of them are now Turtle jelly produced by manufacturers generally uses 草龜 grass turtle or 泥龜代替 clay turtle instead, 或是根本沒有龜的成 or there is no turtle ingredient at all.
廿四味 Twenty-Four Flavors is one of the herbal teas that 香港人經常飲用的涼茶 Hong Kong people often drink. It has a long history and originated in the 廣東一帶 Guangdong area. Because the local area is 多雨潮濕 rainy and humid, with 冬暖 warm winters and 夏熱 hot summers, from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, this climate will easily "聚火 Gather Fire" or 熱氣, which is what we often say. The heat will cause symptoms such as 口乾 dry mouth, 喉嚨痛 sore throat, 便秘 constipation, etc. Therefore, you need to drink 廿四味 Ya Sei Me (literally Twenty Four Flavors) to "下火 Reduce the heat". The effect is remarkable. Basically, it is 男女老少都適合飲用 suitable for drinking by men, women, old and young 一年四季 no matter what time of year.
