USJ10's "ST Rosyam Wholesale Express (Taipan)" is a joint-venture between the award winning Malaysian actor Datuk Rosyam Nor and wholesale market operator Sri Ternak. The energetic Datuk Rosyam, in this early 50s, is a Malaysian actor, television host, film producer and politician, and recently an agriculture enthusiast. The project started in 2017, with its first grocer ""Sri Ternak Rosyam Mart" location in Taman Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur, the wet market, named Sri Ternak Rosyam Mart, opened in August 2017; catering for city dwellers.
There will be 2 new locations, USJ10 opens today and the USJ9 location due to open likely next month, in January 2021, both are called "ST ROSYAM WHOLESALE EXPRESS (Taipan) or (USJ9)". The USJ 10 location takes up 2 shop lots previously I think is a Car Windscreen Specialist shop. Bargains today rm$5.49 for 30 Grade-C Egg, and rm$3.88 for ONe While ChickEN.
The new Grocer is expected to be a 24-hour Grocery outlet but during the CMCO will be 7am-10pm/12am. Also available is Grocer Delivery Services for Klang Valley folks.
Don't expect wide-long grocery aisle like those in big hypermarkets in this to-be-24-hours neighborhood shop-lot style Grocer, but still offers alternative "low price and affordable" grocery items with Sri Ternak's corporate philosophy of "The Fresh & Frozen Food’ and 24/7/365".
