Food Thoughts: Occupying just half a shop lot, the shop location is difficult to be noticeable from the Subang Trunk road of Persiaran Tujaun. The Cafe owned by celebrity Chef Ammar who is a regular on TV Al-Hijrah (an Islamic TV station in Malaysia).
Nevertheless, my lunch of Lamb Kabsa (despite at $25) was very good, cook to tender perfection with good spices. Kabsa, being one of the most famous of all traditional dish of Arabic countries. This one served here, by far to me is one of the best.
The restaurant only serves Kabsa and Mandi Lamb or Chicken with either rice or sandwich. You can see there are cooking stations just outside the shop, one for the roasted chicken and another station stands a pair of rotating skewered chicken and lamb meat grilled for the sandwiches.
Food prices are from $8 to $35, for the Kabsa Lamb I tried today, definitely a good place for Arabic food in Subang. The place is clean and air-conditioned, although you will have to walk past the heats of the skewered meat at the entrance before entering the cafe.
