Thoughts: Brainchild of Owner & Barista Mr Liu, the recently opened Cafe "One Ounce Cafe" at one of the shop lots just opposite the Promenade in Penang Bayan Baru. The Cafe offers coffee with beans from China's Yunnan area. An excellent coffee experience today!

Thoughts: Dinner is Sunway GEO Level 4 HD Bistro Food Courts Chinese Sichuan Cuisine stall "川香小炒 Sichuan Xiao Chao" offering Chinees dishes with rice, "碟頭飯 Dip Tao Fan", and their signature "水煮魚 Boiled Fish" at rm$38 for 2-3 pax. Also available are 麻辣香鍋/湯 Mala Hot Pot or Soup and 四川烤魚 Sichuan Grilled Fish. 

The food court restaurant offers Lunch and Dinner from 11am to around 8pm everyday except Sunday. Dinner today is rm$38 "酸菜魚 Boiled Fish with Chinese Pickles". The dish probably servers for 2-3 people, comes with 魚塊 chunks of Fish, generous portions of 竹筍片 Bamboo shoot slices. 酸菜 Chinese pickles, 香菜 Coriander, topped with 薄荷葉 Mint leaves, 檸檬片 Lemon slices and 青蔥 Scallions. The bowl also comes with some kind of 麵條 noodles and 豆皮 Beancurd skins.
"酸菜魚 SuanCai Yu", also known as "Sauerkraut fish" or "四川魚 Sichuan fish" with 醃芥菜 pickled mustard greens, is a dish originating from 重慶市 Chongqing in 四川省 Sichuan Province. Popularized in the 1990s, "酸菜魚 SuanCai Yu" has become one of 四川名菜 Sichuan's most renowned dishes, distinguished by its 酸辣口味 sour and spicy flavors. One story on the origin of this 重慶酸菜魚 Chongqing SuanCai Yu is said to have originated on a fishing boat in 重慶江津 Jiangjin, Chongqing. A fisherman returned from his daily work at sea and accidentally dropped his catch into 一大鍋醃製湯裡 a large pot of pickled broth his wife was cooking. This is how "酸菜魚 Suan Cai Yu" was discovered and created thereafter. By the early 1990s, sauerkraut fish gained popularity in restaurants of all sizes, becoming one of the 重慶菜的先驅之一 pioneers of Chongqing cuisine.
