SS16's Pho Vietz offers one of the best baguette in town without having to travel all the way to Vietnam. But instead of Vietnamese coffee, it is an rm$9.90 "越南荷花茶 Vietnamese Atiso Tea" (known as Trà Atiso in Vietnamese) or "Artichoke Tea" is used widely in Vietnam as an herbal alternative to green tea. In Vietnam, this 不含咖啡因的茶 Caffeine-free Tea is often sold as dried artichoke tea bags, but it's also easy enough to make a cup of tea using fresh globe artichokes at home.
Another good choice today was a rm$12.90 "越式烝腸粉 Steamed flat Rice Roll with Minced Pork" (or "Bánh Cuốn" in Vietnamese). It is something like the 華人豬腸粉 Chinese Chee Cheong Fun, but it is maybe thinner and smoother and stuffed with savory minced pork, topped with some fresh greens, bean sprout, a bowl of fish/chili sauce PLUS a piece of pork liver paste (I think)! Don't mind having this again next time!
