夜间摄影 Night Photography @ Singapore Boat Quay and Marina Bay

Lens: 12-40mm f2.8
Thoughts: All shots done hand-held, I'd say the Olympus EM1 with the prime lens 12-40 at f2.8 almost all at ISO1600 and above did very well. Enjoyed the 3 hours shooting at night around Boat Quay and Marina Bay areas. The EM1 is clearly lighter than the D90, althought the prime lens was a little bulky but perhaps without its f2.8, couldn't have done it hand held. Overall, not disappointed with the camara and lens. 

Lotus Foto Therapy @ PJ Ara Damansara

Thoughts: I have always considered Lotus photography as a Therapy when I needed one. One of the Lakes at Ara Damansara provides an opportunity for Lotus shooting especially in the months of August. The m.zuiko 75mm f1.8 always never disappoint regardless of the subject matter, day or night. One of the sharpest and definitely the fastest lens and creates excellent bokeh. Totally satistied to a morning of Lotus Therapy at Ara Damansara! 

Macro Photographing of Dragonfly, Flora Fauna and Animals @ KL Orchid Park

Thougths: Instead of the paid "KL Butterfly Park", if luckly; dragonflies can be found at the free entrance KL Orhid Park and usually its the red and chocolaty colored dragonflies. It's never easy to photograph dragonflies no matter how many time I have done it and usually I get a good sweat after working on it for an hour. 
The m.zuiko 60mm macro also does well with portrait photographing at a distance of maybe 5-10 feet either for heat shots or full body shots, I got a chance to photographing some monkeys here this morning.

Shooting close-ups @ KL Orchid Park & Hibiscus Park

Lens: m.zuiko 60mm f2.8
Thoughts: Whenever I needed time alone, its not the streets but some of the parks or lakes in Klang Valley for either Macro ro Close-ups. Both the m.zuiko 60mm and 75mm are always my favorite lenses. 3-4 hours of alone time with flowers, trees or insects is the best thing I can think of with my camera.
