28.12.2016 Lunch
@ Nana's Green Tea at Pavilion KL
6.01.01, Level 6 Pavilion KL
Opening times: 10am - 10pm
炸鸡サラダ Chicken Karaage Salad $16
鲑鱼肉饼 Salmon Croquette $12.80
玄米茶 Gemmai-Cha $9.10
Thoughts: It was definitely a good choice, the fried chicken on the salad called "Chicken Karaage Salad". It must be an appetizer dish, and seems much popular in the Western World and the Americans called it JFC "Japanese Fried Chicken". Well marinated coated with potato starch before frying. Xixing the JFC with the Salad was a good touch.
Salmon Croquette, its Salmon fried with crispy fried croquette served on a bed of leaf lettuce; of course it is "slightly" oily as it is deep fried.
Genmaicha (玄米茶, "brown rice tea") is the Japanese name for green tea combined with roasted brown rice. It is sometimes referred to in Japan as "popcorn tea" because a few grains of the rice pop during the roasting process and resemble popcorn!
