Thoughts: The lunch is the "normal' spiciness (with 25gram chili) of the restaurant's signature "Ayam Geprek" which was already "fiery hot" (spicy and yet appetizing), the rm$12.80 did come with generous amount of fried chicken pieces called "Ayam Geprek". ! On the side are cucumber, crackers, and some fried onions on the rice. There were no other sauce for the rice except for the chili sauce from the crushed chicken cubes.

The Ayam Geprek comes in 4 levels of spiciness: Normal (25g), Spicy (50g), Extra Hot (75g), and Super Hot (100g chili); and there are 10 Geprek variants from the menu with chicken and prawn options. Perhaps also worth trying are the Restaurant's variety of Bakso, Fried Noodles and Indonesian smoked beef menu. Highly recommended to order an ice old drink to go with the Ayam Geprek!
The seating area of the Indonesian Restaurant is its second floor while ordering is at its entrance at the ground floor. It is a self-service restaurant from order to pick-up of your order from the ground floor notified via its PA announcement. The 2nd floor eating area comes with maybe around 15 tables and the decoration looks neat and clean. There is also a self service counter to pick-up your own cutlery, soup of the day, and free sky juice.
"Kotak Plus", an Indonesian cuisine eatery is located in SS15 and opposite "Buttermilk Kitchen", "Restoran Gold Chili", and "Darel & Ben's" (the 3 shops in the same row that offers Buttermilk Rice"! MPSJ Parking here is usually quite challenging throughout the day, although paid parking is also available in the nearby SS15 MPSJ Multi-Storey Parking (maybe 2-4 minutes walking distance).
"印尼辣酱炸鸡 Ayam Geprek" is probably one of the most popular chicken dish in Indonesia since the last 4-5 years, with its origin believed to be from Yogyakarta in Java. "Geprek" is Javanese has the meaning of "crushed" and so "Ayam Geprek" would literally mean "crushed chicken"! It is probably quite similar to the traditional East Javanese cuisine of "Ayam Penyet", as both of the dishes are fried chicken and can be served as smashed and mixed together with hot and spicy sambal chili paste. Although Ayam Penyet is most likely also served as a whole chicken thigh with sambal sauce or condiments on the side. In fact, KFC in Indonesia also offers both Fried chicken Geprek or Penyet styles! The interesting story behind "Ayam Geprek" is an Indonesian report that claim that this menu originally came from a Indonesian Fast Food outlet "Quick Chicken" in 2013 ("Quick Chicken" is said to be the pioneer of local brand fried chicken in Indonesia). And Bedi Zubaedi, Founder & CEO of Quick Chicken claimed that before Ayam Geprek was as popular as it is now, his party had created a similar menu called "American Penyet" which is a blend of Western and Indonesian flavors!
