Thoughts: Taman Intan (Klang), in just a few rows of shops can easily find at least 5 or 6 Bak Kut Teh; this location is one of the many concentrated BKT locations for Klangnites or residents from other parts of Klang Valley who love a porky meal throughout the day. Located on the same row of shops as the "famous" Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh is a Chinese Kopitiam somewhat "famous" for its Homemade Pau called 巴生小食館 Klang Food Center. An unassuming, unpretentious, no elaborate decorations, rather more like a factory-like environment with many foreign workers making trays and trays of Paus! For dining-in, only 2 tables are available, likely usually for their production items but can be seated for walk-in customers. Usually customers come here to queue up for take-aways, according to a regular customer.
Today, I ordered the Vegetable Bun and Big Pau, both are very good to my taste. But their signature must eat recommedations are their 咖喱大包 Curry Big Pau as well as 梅菜包 "Mui Choy" Pau listed top in their menu.
巴生小食館 Klang Food Center was established for more than 18 years, handmade and selling Pau on location; so, you do get the freshest pau you can get or purchased the non-cooked version. Not just offering over 13 kinds of Pau, but also 肉粽 pork dumpling, curry puff, sesame ball, yam cake, as well as sweet desserts such as red bean/green bean soup and coffee/tea for those who dine-in in their two tables in front of the shop. Definitely a shop worth visit again for other items in their menu.
